Koklaamo is a new operating model by the City of Tampere, which aims to find solutions for the challenges of everyday life and modernising urban environment by bringing together citizens, companies, organisation and experts. Innovations are born when different types of people and industries are brought together!
At Koklaamo, companies and organisations can try to tackle challenges faced by citizens, create solutions to the problems and test the solutions, together with the end users. Instead of fine-tuning ideas indefinitely, they are tested in practice already at the early stage. Koklaamo is a customer-oriented platform for quickly testing new solutions in authentic environments together with the intended end users.
The Tesoma district of the City of Tampere provides the physical environment for testing whether there are markets for the developed product or service.
Koklaamo is intended for innovative companies and organisations who want to participate in co-creating new solutions for the challenges of everyday life. Koklaamo membership is free of charge.
